The automatic coupleris installed in the tubing string using taper threads on the level of the upper end of the pump barrel. After the pump installation into the well the centralizer seating cup snugly fits the barrel.
It is desirable to use with 2 roll centralizers providing the centering of the 2 parts of the autîmatic cîupling in the tubing string.
